RNDr. Marie Feřtrová, Ph.D. studied Social Geography and Regional Development at the Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague. She received training at European Policies Research Centre, University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. Since 2005 she has been cooperating in projects aimed at regional policy, EU Economic and Social Cohesion Policy and regional development. She helped with creating implementation documents for Cohesion Policy Programmes 2007-2013. She is an expert in international evaluation projects for the European Commission (e.g. evaluation of Management and Implementation Systems of ERDF Programmes 2000-2006, Cohesion Fund or ISPA 2000-2006) and projects aimed at sharing international experience with Structural Funds implementation (IQ-Net, Terco) and regional policy (EoRPA) – see www.eprc.strath.ac.uk/eprc/. She has experience in scientific work, writing as well as educating. She works as a scientific worker at the Department of Social Geography and Regional Development of the Faculty of Science at Charles University in Prague (www.urrlab.cz). Since 2016 she has been a partner in SPF Competence plus Company, focusing on strengthening the company´s role within international projects.
