For the request of the Regional Authority of Ústecký region, SPF Group undertakes a study aimed at support of the region to prepare for EU Cohesion policy after 2013. Within the study, an assessment of hitherto discussion at the EU level on the future design of Cohesion policy has been elaborated and the currently available positions of the Czech Republic to the selected proposals for a change have been discussed. The objective of such assessment is firstly to provide the Regional Authority with recommendations to formulate its views on the EU and national proposals for a change. Secondly, the implications of proposals on the future design of EU Cohesion policy for the Ústecký region are provided. In addition, the study focuses on the transfer of experiences gained during the 2004-2006 programming process and on the determination of regional stakeholders` needs to ensure that exploitation of future Cohesion policy subventions is as much effective as possible.

From September 2009 till March 2010, SPF Group is processing the actualization of the Tourism Development Strategy of the Ústí Region (Ústecký kraj). In the first part, an analysis of the tourism offer, demand and management is processed and the tourism regionalization of the region is drawn up. In the second part, tourism development vision, priorities and measures are proposed. Those activities, which are to be arranged by the administration of Ústí Region, and a proposal of tourism development management system are elaborated in the action plan.

In the year 2009, SPF Group started to cooperate with corporate cities of Ústí nad Labem and Kladno at the implementation of integrated city development plans supported by IOP (Integrated Opperational Programme). These integrated plans are focused on the revitalization of housing estates. SPF Group offers a technical assistence, which comprises adjustment of main parametres of the administration system and support in the first phase of the integrated plan implementation. Such activities as processing of monitoring reports, financial plan and indicator management, preparation of calls for proposals, or assistence at the project evaluation are parts of the technical support.
